Responsibilities
Perform on-site installation, configuration, and commissioning of SMT automation systems
Execute equipment retrofits, upgrades, and custom modifications
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, software, and process-related issues on-site and remotely
Provide timely technical support to minimize equipment downtime
Deliver operator and maintenance training to customer personnel
Advise customers on best practices for process optimization, preventive maintenance, and system efficiency
Collect and analyze technical data to support troubleshooting and continuous improvement
Prepare detailed service reports and technical documentation
Act as a technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred)
Experience with SMT automation equipment strongly preferred
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and mechatronic diagrams
Working knowledge of Windows-based operating systems, software installation, and system configuration
Basic understanding of networking concepts
Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
Ability to perform hands-on equipment service at customer sites
