Market Development Manager
Frontier Door & Cabinet is a leading supplier and installer of doors, cabinets, and finish products for the multifamily construction industry. The Market Development Manager is responsible for expanding the company’s presence and driving growth within the multi-family construction market by identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new opportunities in the multi-family construction sector, including developers, general contractors, architects, and designers
Build and maintain long-term partnerships with key clients, ensuring repeat business and strong referral networks
Research market trends, competitor offerings, and regional opportunities to develop strategic growth initiatives
Develop and manage a consistent pipeline of projects, from lead generation through bid submission and award
Partner with estimating and project management teams to ensure accurate proposals, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and professional associations to enhance visibility and reputation
Meet or exceed annual sales and margin targets by aligning business development efforts with company goals
Track and report key performance metrics, including pipeline activity, conversion rates, and market insights
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the construction, millwork, or building materials industry (experience in multi-family preferred)
Strong understanding of construction project cycles, including bidding, submittals, and installation phases
Proven track record of generating and closing large-scale B2B sales
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Self-motivated, organized, and driven to exceed goals
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Experience in multi-family preferred
Ability to read construction plans and specifications (a plus)
Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred
