Responsibilities
Serve as the primary support contact for Epic Ambulatory end users
Design, build, test, and maintain Epic Ambulatory workflows and functionality
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues across teams
Translate clinical and operational needs into EMR build solutions
Act as a liaison between end users, leadership, and Epic/vendor partners
Lead complex projects, upgrades, and multi-team initiatives
Mentor and guide junior analysts; provide training and knowledge sharing
Participate in project meetings, steering committees, and system demonstrations
Maintain documentation, NoVA notes, certifications, and CE requirements
Adhere to SLAs, incident management processes, and escalation protocols
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule
Qualification
Required
5+ years of Epic experience
EpicCare Ambulatory certification – required
Strong Epic build, configuration, testing, and optimization experience
Deep understanding of ambulatory clinical workflows
Ability to independently lead workgroups, presentations, and system demos
Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
Comfortable working in a fully remote environment
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (preferred)
Additional Epic certifications preferred (Welcome, EpicCare Link, MyChart, Healthy Planet/Compass Rose)
