Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify, research, and pursue qualified prospects through multiple channels including cold outreach, networking, industry research, and referrals. Develop targeted lists and execute consistent outreach strategies to build a strong pipeline
Inquiry Management: Respond promptly and professionally to incoming inquiries. Qualify leads, understand customer needs, and guide prospects through the sales process
Event Participation: Attend relevant industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events. Build relationships, gather market intelligence, and represent the GymAware brand at key events
Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong relationships with coaches, athletic directors, performance specialists, strength & conditioning professionals, and other key stakeholders in the sports industry
Market Development: Identify market opportunities, understand customer pain points, and work strategically to position our solutions. Contribute to the development of sales strategies for key verticals and customer segments
Product & Market Knowledge: Stay current with the latest developments in sports technology, athletic performance measurement, and industry trends. Build expert knowledge of GymAware, FLEX, and competitive solutions
Customer Support & Feedback: Maintain regular contact with customers post-sale. Gather feedback on product performance and customer satisfaction to inform product development and service improvements
Sales Administration: Prepare accurate quotes and proposals. Maintain organized CRM records of all leads, interactions, and transactions to ensure effective pipeline management and reporting

Required

Proven track record of 5+ years in sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably in the sports technology sector
Demonstrated ability to identify prospects, execute outreach campaigns, and build a qualified pipeline
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to clearly articulate value propositions and conduct professional presentations
Results-driven professional who takes initiative, works independently, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and follow-through

Preferred

Experience working with or knowledge of elite sports teams, universities, or athletic organizations
Familiarity with athletic performance measurement, velocity-based training, or strength & conditioning practices
Background in selling software, hardware, or technology solutions to enterprise or institutional customers
