Responsibilities

Design, analysis, review, and justification of new parts, assemblies, modifications, or fixtures

Investigation and resolution of manufacturability, quality, and supplier issues for components and sub-assemblies

Creation and validation of test plans and procedures to validate hardware onsite or at supplier

Hands-on factory and field support, alongside the operations and engineering teams

Solving problems with a data-driven, multidisciplinary team approach

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Final graduation date must fall between December 2026 and August 2027

Must be available to work 40 hours/week for the full duration of the internship program

Experience with standard industry 3D CAD software

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

US Citizenship required

Preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills

SolidWorks modeling and drawing experience

Familiarity with ASME drawing standards and guidelines

Exposure to basic GD&T concepts and applications

Understanding of metal fabrication processes and tolerances, especially machining, casting, welding, and sheet forming processes

Previous relevant internship experience
