Responsibilities
Provide engineering and field support for Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition system and other related systems
Design, install, or maintain one or more of the systems including Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and Building Management Systems (BMS)
Support service to field users in a utility or industrial environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is required
10 years of experience and knowledge of electronic engineering concepts, principles, and practices applicable to one or more of the following is required: Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) or other industrial control systems such as Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Building Management Systems (BMS), commercial automation, or complex security systems which utilize real-time control, sensor integration, and actuator output within an industrial context
5 years of direct experience with designing, installing, or maintaining one or more of the systems above
3 years' experience with industrial control protocols (ethernet or serial based): e.g., DNP3, Modbus, OPC, or packet-based Ethernet/IP operational technology (OT) or industrial control system (ICS) networks
1 year of providing support service to field users in a utility or industrial environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Valid U.S. Driver's License/Real ID is required
Preferred
Experience with SCADA systems and protocols
Experience with Ethernet or packet-based operational technology (OT) or industrial control system (ICS) networks
5 years of experience with Process Automation and Instrumentation in automating processes, process variables, sensor calibration, and instrumentation in manufacturing, utilities, or laboratory settings
Hands-on troubleshooting or maintenance experience with one or more common utility Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) platform and associated digital or analog inputs/outputs and communication protocols
Familiarity with the Linux operating system
Experience with Python script programming
Experience in development of HMI/MMI interfaces
Experience conducting classroom training or laboratory workshops
