Responsibilities

Manages and leads escalated security matters and a myriad of threats within the Northeast Region of the United States, including acting as a primary point of contact for Rahway site security matters, and as secondary support for all GSG NA Team investigative matters
Identify risk to the business, our personnel, and our patients. Provide solutions and strategies to mitigate risk and close gaps
Establishes and maintains a seamless interface with assigned regional management and operations. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Analyze security exposures and implement cost-effective passive, reactive, and proactive programs to address these exposures
Demonstrates leadership by exemplifying the highest level of integrity, ethics, and collaboration
Manages investigations, self-performance and designated area liaison
Interaction with the physical security team on a regular basis
Assigned role with the Integrated Management Office (IMO) for specific merger and acquisition projects. Coordinate with the IMO to support new employees, identify risk, analyze security exposures, and implement measures to address these vulnerabilities
Maintain close liaison with government, industry, security, and intelligence professionals within the region. Develop actionable intelligence opportunities through continued liaison with law enforcement and intelligence agencies
Provide guidance and support to site and subsidiary security operations within the region, ensuring that Global Security Group worldwide standards, policies and procedures are implemented and maintained
Provide support as directed in the areas of Executive Protection, Workplace Violence, Financial Investigations, Incident Management and Business Continuity, Travel Security, Due diligence investigations, Site Security Surveys, and Risk Assessment/Risk Analysis, and the Armed Security Officer (ASO) Program
Provide security awareness training to the business and external partners as appropriate
Identify new methodologies that will enable Global Security Group to uncover and address all security concerns within the Company. Benchmark within the industry to identify best practices that will improve and enhance all Global Security Group security programs and operations
Handles high volume & complex case load with little oversight and maintains incident reporting database & measurements for region
Accountable to assigned client groups and GSAG management for efficient and highly effective delivery of security services
Maintain and review security records; periodically report on trends, anomalies, and concerns

Required

Bachelor's Degree (minimum) or equivalent
Security professional with at least 10 years of experience in corporate security and/or law enforcement/military or intelligence service within the region
Ability to identify security issues and customize, implement/execute solutions
Advanced Investigative skills, including interviewing and report writing
Analytic skills to identify investigative and security issues independently and with minimal oversight, as well as the ability to customize, implement, and execute solutions efficiently and effectively
Maintain an exceedingly high level of ethics and compliance
Excellent writing and oral communication skills and proven success in presenting succinct, effective communication to all stakeholders
Computer technical proficiency to manage cases within a case management system, report writing, investigative analysis and documentation, and ability to retrieve and document pertinent case information with investigations
Ability to champion innovative ideas or positions to meet key goals and initiatives
Ability to develop and lead a team
Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of individuals from diverse backgrounds, countries of origin, and at varying levels within the corporate structure, as well as with government officials
Committed to successfully operating in a matrixed environment with an exceptional level of collaboration, clarity, and transparency in dealing with peers, team members, and all others in a flat and nimble organization
Established range of professional contacts, polished interpersonal skills, excellent research and writing abilities under extremely tight deadlines and competing demands, and familiarity with the range of professional literature in this area
Proven ability to work in varying situations, from committee work in which a 'team player' approach is essential to situations in which considerable independence and self-motivation is required
Must be innovative and independent, able to manage an aggressive workload in a high-performing environment
Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and respond rapidly to breaking situations. Sound, proven judgment is a must
Written and oral fluency in English is required
Qualified to participate in the ASO program

Recognized international security qualifications/accreditations, such as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), are preferred
