Responsibilities
Provide outstanding guest service by greeting and acknowledging every guest, smiling, and maintaining strong product knowledge and service standards
Assist with retail bakery operations through cookie counter sales and floor and stock positions
Open and/or close the Cookie Counter and Floor & Stock areas as needed
Monitor and ensure all baked goods are properly dated, labeled, rotated, and not held or sold past the agreed-upon shelf life
Help monitor inventory levels of baked goods and samples to keep displays full and minimize waste
Assist in fulfilling mail orders and large special orders as required
Help maintain a clean and organized baking area and rotate stock between freezers
Check and record temperatures for freezers, coolers, and reach-ins at designated times and record required inventory management data
Help create and submit bakery orders to ensure full displays
Accurately total purchases, handle all forms of payment, make correct change, and wrap or bag guest purchases effectively
