The Bakeshop Retail Assistant Captain leads daily retail operations, ensuring high-quality guest service and sales of baked goods while overseeing team training and operational standards.

Responsibilities
Provide a friendly environment for each guest, including greeting, acknowledging, and maintaining strong product knowledge and service standards
Assign tasks to retail Bakeshop team members (cookie counter, floor & stock, cookie baker) to prepare for future guests
Oversee quality control of ingredients and finished products and ensure agreed-upon portion and quality standards
Order and maintain inventory of outsourced baked goods and ensure mail and special orders are fulfilled on time
Ensure products are properly rotated, dated, pulled for sale daily, and reduced or removed when past best-by date
Create and manage a daily schedule and task list and help ensure inventory is complete and accurate
Maintain required operational logs, support ServSafe-level cleaning standards, and ensure opening, closing, and daily procedures are followed
