Responsibilities
Supervise recruiter who oversees full-cycle recruiting for direct care and administrative positions
Oversee hiring of approximately 10–20 direct care professionals per month
Build consistent pipeline of qualified, values-aligned staff
Oversee screening, interviews, references, and hiring decisions
Track recruiting metrics and report KPIs to the leadership team
Lead standardized new hire orientation and onboarding
Ensure staff are equipped with policies, expectations, and training
Coordinate 30 day onboarding with program leadership
Maintain personnel files, training records, and certifications
Implement retention strategies to increase tenure
Monitor turnover and early-exit trends
Oversee performance reviews and development plans
Serve as master user and system owner of ADP HR/payroll platform
Process and approve bi-weekly payroll
Ensure accurate timekeeping, PTO, and pay practices
Utilize AI tools to improve recruiting, onboarding, training, documentation, and reporting
Identify opportunities to automate manual HR processes
Support adoption of AI-driven workflows across HR functions
Qualification
Required
4+ years HR or People Operations experience
Payroll experience (ADP preferred)
Experience using AI tools to support HR operations
Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
Experience supervising staff
Strong alignment with Ohana's mission, values, and faith-based culture, and ability to support a Christian organizational environment
