Front Desk Attendant - Casper Ice Arena
The City of Casper is looking for Customer Service Stars to join their team at the Casper Ice Arena. This part-time role involves greeting guests, assisting with class registrations, and performing clerical duties to ensure a smooth operation of the facility.

Responsibilities
Greet guests with a smile and assist with class registrations, memberships, and passes
Operate point-of-sale systems with confidence
Perform light clerical duties to keep things running smoothly
Be a key part of a team that brings joy and recreation to our community
Attend the front desk of a Parks and Recreation facility and provide general information in person, online, or by telephone, about assigned recreational facility such as the services provided, processing registrations, issuing memberships, passes, taking associated fees and cashiering, food and retail sales, and similar customer service duties
General oversight of participants to ensure participant safety and compliance with appropriate policies and general information about the facility and/or events
Opens and close facilities as assigned and conduct walkthroughs for participant counts as needed
Assists with basic receptionist and clerical work including recordkeeping
Prepares and serves food such as popcorn, hotdogs, pretzels, and fountain sodas using standard formulas or following directions as assigned
Stocks supplies such as food or retail sales inventory in a safe and efficient manner
Maintains clean and orderly cashier station and performs routine cleaning tasks as assigned
Represents the City of Casper by responding to the public, citizens, its employees, and others in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner while continuously maintaining a positive customer service demeanor
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 16 years of age, preferably 18 years of age or older
Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
Ability to learn cashiering methods and procedures
Ability to learn cash register operation
Ability to routinely demonstrate the City of Casper core values
Ability to follow all City safety rules and procedures and report all accidents/incidents immediately to supervisor
Ability to facilitate visitor and customer traffic to their appropriate destination
Ability to encourage safety protocols to all visitors and customers
Ability to respond to inquiries, complaints, and requests
Ability to maintain attention to detail in a work situation with frequent interruptions
Ability to handle multiple customers at the same time
Ability to learn general layout of facility to provide assistance to visitors and customers
Ability to organize and/or prioritize to be efficient and effective with multiple tasks
Ability to operate modern office equipment, software, and operating systems/applications
Ability to maintain a neat and professional appearance
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and direction
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
