Responsibilities

Database Design & Development: Design, develop, test, and implement database applications and solutions, including tables, schemas, views, and stored logic, in Oracle (11g/12c) and SQL Server environments
Requirements Analysis: Partner with business analysts and application teams to analyze user and system requirements, translating them into clear database designs and implementations
PL/SQL Development: Develop and maintain complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code, including packages, procedures, functions, and queries
Performance Tuning & Optimization: Optimize, tune, and troubleshoot SQL and PL/SQL code to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability across environments
Data Modeling: Apply strong knowledge of relational data modeling, including normalized and de-normalized table structures, object-relational mapping, and schema design
Application Support: Assist development teams with database-related design decisions, testing, tuning, and implementation activities
Agile Collaboration: Work within an Agile environment, picking up and managing Jira tickets and collaborating across cross-functional teams

Required

5–10 years of database development experience
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL in 11g and 12c environments
Solid understanding of SQL Server
Expertise in relational database modeling and schema design
Proven ability to analyze requirements and implement database solutions
Experience troubleshooting database performance and optimizing SQL code
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred

Experience with ETL processes
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Jira)
Prior experience working in large enterprise environments
Infrastructure or IT asset management exposure
Strong writing and documentation skills
