Responsibilities
Common tasks for this position include analysis tool design and development, and complex analysis on missile defense system and/or algorithm performance
The selected candidate will investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop creative solutions to complex technical problems
The selected candidate may support a broad range of projects including performance analysis, modeling & simulation (M&S), post-flight reconstruction, and integration and risk reduction efforts
Apply practical engineering knowledge across a broad range of established system engineering principles, concepts, and methods
The selected candidate will interact with external customers and stakeholders within the program offices, and development prime contractors
Qualification
Required
US Citizenship
Minimum of a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Math, or Computer Science from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
2+ years of relevant working experience with sensor and/or system-level data analysis
Must have an active secret clearance
Proficient in data manipulation and analysis, data visualization, signal and data processing, electromagnetics, and/or system engineering using MATLAB or similar tools
Must have the ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting complex data and developing effective models
Ability to develop and/or contribute to reports and briefings that explain complex system behaviors effectively to a broad range of audiences
Ability to multi-task and work effectively across multiple efforts
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Preferred
Experience developing and/or improving complex analysis tools using MATLAB
Experience in C, C++, Linux/Unix operating systems, and Microsoft Office
