Fiberglass Technician
The Hinckley Company has a rich heritage in yacht manufacturing and is seeking a Marine Fiberglass Technician to join their team. This role involves performing complex lamination and repair tasks on marine vessels, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and safety compliance.

Responsibilities
Preparation: Prepare fiberglass, resins, and damaged areas for repair
Repair: Perform structural and cosmetic fiberglass repairs, including the application of epoxy, polyester, and gelcoat resins
Detail-Oriented Work: Craft, cut, trim, sand, and grind various surfaces and substrates
Knowledge of Resins: Understand the type of resin and catalyst used and accurately measure amount for saturation and adhesion
Quality Control: Provide high-quality repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. All duties as assigned
Safety Compliance: Following safety policies and guidelines, including the use of vacuum bags and vacuum pumps
Qualification
Required
Two (2) years' experience or the equivalent combined years of experience and education
Ability to lift between 25 and 60 lbs
All applicants must be able to successfully pass a background check as a condition of employment
Preferred
Coursework in composites, woods, and/or metals preferred
Solid understanding of gel coats and application techniques a plus!
