Responsibilities
Lead site Environmental, Health & Safety strategy and serve as the primary EHS subject-matter expert
Partner with site leadership to prioritize initiatives and drive a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other regulatory requirements
Lead audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations; analyze trends and implement corrective actions
Evaluate EHS impact of new processes, equipment, and facility changes to ensure appropriate controls are in place
Drive environmental sustainability initiatives, including waste management and environmental monitoring programs
Collaborate cross-functionally to embed EHS into daily operations and long-term planning
Manage EHS budgets and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost improvement
Monitor performance metrics, communicate results, and influence stakeholders to deliver measurable EHS outcomes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Minimum of 6 years in a manufacturing environment or equivalent
Preferred
Ability to interpret EHS regulatory requirements and lead programs to meet requirements and bring performance to the next level
Experience in dealing with EHS regulators e.g. OSHA., EPA, etc
Experience in leading cross functional project teams
Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at all levels
Extensive experience in implementing and maintaining EHS management systems
Certification such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM
