Payroll Specialist
CFS is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Specialist to manage and process payroll accurately and on time for their organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring employees are paid correctly while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities
Process payroll on a regular schedule (weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly)
Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions
Maintain and update employee payroll records
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax regulations
Prepare and file payroll taxes, reports, and year-end forms (W-2s, etc.)
Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
Respond to employee payroll questions and issues professionally and promptly
Coordinate with HR and Finance on new hires, terminations, benefits, and changes
Assist with audits and internal payroll reviews as needed
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of payroll laws, taxes, and compliance requirements
Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday, Paylocity, or similar)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting tools
Preferred
2+ years of payroll processing experience
