Responsibilities

Conceptualize, design, implement, and develop solutions for complex applications independently including relational databases and performance tuning
Contribute to all phases of a project, including systems analysis, program design, development, and implementation
Work with a variety of users to gain information, and develop intra-system tradeoffs between different users, as necessary; interact with a diverse client base and outside vendor contacts
Document system builds and application configurations; maintain and update documentation as needed
Provide technical analysis, design, development, conversion, and implementation work
Work as a project lead, as needed, for projects of moderate complexity
Serve as a technical resource for applications
Compare, evaluate, and implement new features and technologies, and integrate them into the computing environment
Follow team software development methodology. This includes but not limited to Change Control, Code Review and Change Management
Create programs to meet reporting and analysis needs
Perform support, maintenance, operation, and upgrades of applications
Partner with business management to define the appropriate technical solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems
Provide innovative programming and analysis
Provide application development using Java on Oracle Applications Framework and programming related to Oracle SQL/Oracle PL SQL

Required

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS or related field and three years of experience as a IT Software Developer or related occupation in IT Software Development
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS or related field and five years experience as a IT Software Developer or related occupation in IT Software Development
Must possess five years of exp. with a Bachelor's or three years' exp with a Master's in each of the following: Designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications
Relational databases and Applications performance tuning
Developing applications with Java on Oracle Applications Framework
Structured programming related to Oracle SQL like Oracle PL/SQL
Developing enterprise applications in Oracle based technology, Oracle Application Framework, Oracle Workflow and Business Intelligence Publisher
Must also possess knowledge in Oracle Applications (Human Resources (HS), Inventory (INV), Grants Accounting (GA) and General Ledger (GL))
