Responsibilities
Lead and execute audits, reviews, and compilations
Plan and perform fieldwork in accordance with GAAP and GAAS
Analyze financial statements and supporting documents
Prepare and review workpapers and engagement deliverables
Communicate proactively with clients to resolve issues and provide insights
Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and deliverables
Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency
Contribute to firm initiatives, including recruiting and strategic projects
Stay current on emerging accounting and assurance standards
Supervise and mentor staff and interns during client engagements
Deliver constructive feedback and on-the-job training
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive team environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
3+ years of audit experience in public accounting
Solid understanding of GAAP and professional auditing standards
CPA license or significant progress toward certification
Advanced computer literacy, including proficient use of all Microsoft Office products
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple client engagements
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Preferred
Not-for-profit and employee benefit plans (EBP) auditing experience
Familiarity with CaseWare/CaseView and CCH Fixed Assets
Project management or strategic planning capabilities
