Responsibilities

Cover the position for 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, with core hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (start and end times may be adjusted based on mission requirements)
Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to assist management with decision making, policy formulation, and other managerial functions
Collect and analyze data and develop decision support software, services, or products
Develop and supply optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation
Develop and implement training programs and modules for Senior and Junior Watch Officers and data analysts
Identify and administer formal and ad hoc training sessions, exercises, and evaluations for watch staff
Oversee the quality and performance of contract watch standers and deliverables
Manage watch functions, processes, and information flow
Maintain situational awareness of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) related events, incidents, and threats
Prioritize tasks and efforts, coordinate information gathering and reporting with other Federal Protective Service (FPS) elements
Conduct training for all watch personnel and shifts to ensure compliance with production and watch activity guidelines
Assure and control production and service quality as related to communications, information transmission, and data/information presentation

Required

Must possess a Secret clearance
Minimum of 12 years of experience in operation centers, emergency management, dispatch, first responder (law enforcement/fire/rescue), or related work, with at least 8 of the 12 years in management
Ability to perform all duties independently
Minimum education requirement: BA/BS degree
