Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain enhancements for systems software including operating systems, drivers, compilers, networking, and utilities
Analyze design requirements and perform coding, testing, and integration activities based on project objectives
Design, develop and execute layered test plans to ensure robust product deliverables
Identify and debug software issues and recommend proactive improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to deliver modular, reliable, and high-quality solutions
Communicate project status, design decisions, and technical issues effectively with project stakeholders

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
2–4 years of professional software engineering experience
Proficiency in C and low-level software design
Experience with Python, Linux kernel, and computer networking is highly desirable
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Familiarity with software systems design tools, software development lifecycle, layered testing methodologies, and multi-platform development
