Income Tax Manager

Responsibilities
Oversee preparation and review of quarterly and annual income tax provisions under ASC 740
Manage deferred tax calculations, valuation allowances, and uncertain tax positions
Coordinate preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns and extensions
Monitor and analyze changes in tax laws and assess impacts to the company’s tax position and reporting
Support tax forecasting, effective tax rate analysis, and cash tax planning
Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisor
Ensure timely and accurate responses to tax authority notices and inquiries
Maintain and enhance internal controls over tax reporting and compliance
Drive automation and technology improvements in tax provision and compliance processes
Maintain comprehensive documentation supporting tax positions and conclusions
Qualification
Required
4-year College Degree in Accounting or equivalent, CPA Strongly Preferred
7 plus years' experience in public company corporate taxes
Experience with ASC 740 in a publicly traded company
Exposure to international tax and cross-border structuring concepts
Experience implementing or improving tax provision and compliance software
Familiarity with ERP systems and tax data automation tools
