Responsibilities

Oversee all pieces of the event planning process, by leveraging best practices
Collaboration with Gartner Business Units to support their event objectives – research and propose recommendations for all event elements to relevant Business Unit stakeholders, for both in-person and virtual events
Plan, manage and execute various elements of the event – including, but not limited to:
Collaboration with Global Registration vendor on registration website, reporting, tracking and monitoring of registrations from pre-event through post-event
Work closely with IT team to understand needs for virtual events, manage onsite Teams channels and escalation points
Produce and manage hotel specifications, menus, and on-site logistics
Work closely with production team to understand Audio Visual needs
Oversee travel, transportation and hotel arrangements for attendees and staff for Corporate Events
Collaboration with creative journey & branding team and other event partners on the production of branding either onsite or on virtual portal
Answer questions from internal and external clients about events
Produce and manage Special events and offsite functions for attendees
Constantly evaluate the event experience, feedback and results and implement changes accordingly

Required

3-5 years events/project management experience
Results-oriented drive and a solid work ethic
Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
Superior poise and judgment (demonstrated “grace under pressure”) with both internal and external constituencies
Proven project management skills
Competent in Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Proactive problem-solving skills
Strong service ethic and superior executive presence
Strong record of achievement in current position
Financial/budget management experience
Willingness to travel domestic and international up to 25 – 30%
