IT Service Lead
CFS is a Chicagoland based IT dedicated search practice, and they are seeking an IT Service Lead to manage their IT Service Desk operations. The role involves leading daily operations, managing escalations, and improving ITSM processes while applying ITIL practices.

Responsibilities
Lead IT Service Desk operations in a Microsoft environment
Manage daily operations, escalations, and SLAs as primary escalation point
Own and improve ITSM processes: incident, service request, change, problem
Apply ITIL practices to minimize disruption and drive improvement
Lead incident response, change coordination, problem resolution, and support projects
Manage user asset lifecycle, inventory, and security
Communicate technical details clearly, train users, engage experts as needed
Qualification
Required
4+ years of IT service experience, including supervisory role
Experience leading a help desk team and acting as the top escalation point
Strong knowledge of ITIL, ticketing systems, SLAs, metrics, etc
Advanced Microsoft 365 proficiency (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) and Windows/M365 admin basics
Experience and knowledge within Windows System Administration, Enterprise backup and recovery, performance monitoring, etc
Strategic thinking and planning, with strong problem-solving abilities
Preferred
Experience with SOX compliance, MDM, and incident response
