Responsibilities

Create new relationships with tour sound clients
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by targeting Audio Production & Touring companies and select end-users
Identify opportunities to take market share from HARMAN competitors
Formulate preliminary design recommendations, equipment packages, and pricing
Track opportunities via CRM and assist in formulating sales forecasts
Work with other HARMAN teams to build new, and grow existing, customer relationships

Required

Minimum 5 years' experience in the professional audio industry tour sound market
Experience working with audio production houses, audio touring companies and/or end users within the production audio space
Knowledge of competitive audio brands
Strong communication, decision-making, leadership, and collaboration skills
Be willing to travel up to 50%, domestic travel
Be willing to work in a Home Office, preferably in the Dallas–Fort Worth, TX or Los Angeles, CA areas
Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment (post-offer)

Preferred

Experience with CRM, Microsoft suite, and industry-standard software
Previous job history with a competitive equipment manufacturer or a tour sound sales role within a production company
Deep technical knowledge of audio system theory and application
