Program Specialist (Deployment)

Advising senior leadership on strategy, risks, and corrective actions

Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-12 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization
One year of specialized experience which includes informing, organizing and leading complex analyses of deployment activities, coordinating daily operations across the enterprise within multiple locations, ensuring adherence to organizational standards for quality, service, and performance
Experience interpreting and revising policy and regulatory guidance, advising leadership on strategy, risk management, and corrective actions
Extensive experience in project management, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, preparing complex documentation, and ensuring compliance with all pertinent regulations and laws
A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities
Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications
