Responsibilities
The Chief Operating Officer has primary responsibility for the daily operations of Upper Allegheny Health System and its associated ambulatory centers
They are responsible for integrating the strategic plan and annual goals of the hospital and health system into the operations ensuring highly efficient and high quality clinical and non-clinical programs
The COO will work with leadership across Kaleida Health and its affiliates to create operational alignment and consistency
As a member of the Sites Senior Leadership Team, the COO will collaborate with both physician and administrative leaders to advance growth initiatives, operational improvements, efficient and effective resource utilization and allocation, and further our mission to advance the health of our community
They will enable a seamless journey of care for our patients throughout our health system focused on quality and safety, patient experience, access, efficiency, and collaboration
Through their leadership, they will cultivate a culture of service and excellence, focused on our patients and families, and create an environment of diversity, equity and inclusion
Qualification
Required
Bachelors in business or health administration required
10 years of experience in Health System Leadership and administration required
Preferred
Masters in health administration or business preferred
