Legal.io is a market-leading consumer technology platform seeking an experienced eDiscovery professional to support and expand enterprise eDiscovery operations. The role involves managing legal holds, case workflows, vendor coordination, and process development in collaboration with Legal, IT, Security, and external counsel.

Responsibilities

Place and manage legal holds, ensuring accuracy in notices and execution
Track and update ongoing cases, working closely with internal counsel, outside counsel, and eDiscovery vendors
Support Technology-Assisted Review (TAR) and AI-driven workflows
Draft legal hold policies, operational guidelines, project plans, and best practices documentation
Support process documentation and cleanup initiatives
Partner with IT, Security, and Legal teams to build and mature eDiscovery operations
Assist with employment investigations and litigation matters, taking ownership of assigned cases, maintaining detailed case trackers, and ensuring day-to-day case progress
Leverage tools such as Slack, Google Suite, Confluence, and JIRA for collaboration

Required

7+ Years of experience as an eDiscovery generalist with strong knowledge of legal holds, case management, technology, and vendor coordination
Hands-on experience with eDiscovery tools (Relativity, DISCO, Excel/Google Sheets, and collaboration platforms) and strong understanding of end-to-end eDiscovery workflows and best practices
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proactive problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional setting

Preferred

Experience supporting employment investigations and litigation matters
