Controller - North Druid Hills

They are seeking a Controller to partner closely with the CFO and leadership team to support financial strategy, reporting, and operational excellence while overseeing accounting operations and a dedicated team.

Responsibilities
Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and cash management
Partner with the CFO on the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Oversee month‑end and year‑end close processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
Coordinate the annual audit process and serve as the primary point of contact for external accountants
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to inform organizational leadership and decision‑making
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Proven experience leading accounting functions and managing staff
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with senior leadership
Preferred
CPA or Master's degree preferred
Background in nonprofit, healthcare, or multi‑entity environments preferred
