Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (Intern)
Alvin ISD is seeking a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology Intern to provide psychological services for students with various disabilities. The role involves assessment, behavior intervention, and facilitating the ARD process in accordance with guidelines.

Responsibilities
Provide psychological services in assessment, behavior intervention, and counseling for students with emotional disabilities, learning disabilities, and behavioral problems
Assess the psychological and psycho-educational needs of students referred to special education services
Facilitate the ARD process in accordance with state and federal guidelines
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field
Current enrollment in Master's degree program in School Psychology from accredited college or university
Knowledge of procedures for assessing achievement and intellectual, emotional, and behavioral functioning for educational purposes
Knowledge of prevention and intervention strategies, including positive behavior supports
Knowledge of psycho-social development
Consultation skills for conferencing with campus administrators, teachers, parents, and students
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Enrollment in a NASP-approved program at an accredited college or university
