Responsibilities
Participating in the new product design process from initial concept to final production and sustaining
Work with NOCO engineering to become an applications expert on NOCO products
Diagnose and resolve customer application and system-level issues escalated from technical support
Provide applications engineering support for key NOCO customers
Work with NOCO sales to evaluate and test applications for potential customers
Participate in field testing and product installations for NOCO products
Represent NOCO in insurance investigations related to NOCO products
This is a customer-facing role requiring direct interaction with NOCO customers
25% Travel is required to visit customers
Qualification
Required
5+ years of relevant experience
Basic understanding of electronics
Familiarity with typical lab test and measurement equipment
Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent preferred but not required
Prior experience in Technical Support, Applications Engineering, Field Service, or closely related position
Experience or knowledge with some of the following: Battery Chargers, Batteries, Jump Starters, Tire Inflators, or similar technology
