Responsibilities
Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Manage access control at entrances and restricted areas by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining entry logs, and directing guests to the appropriate locations
Monitor CCTV, alarm panels, and/or other access control systems, and report irregular activity in accordance with post orders and escalation procedures
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting onsite management and/or public emergency services as directed
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, corridors, storefront perimeters, and parking areas, with working environments and conditions varying by location
Qualification
Required
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience
Be 21 years of age or older
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
