Responsibilities
Receive, review, and process billing records requests in a timely and accurate manner
Monitor records requests received
Gather, organize, and prepare documents and records required for legal requests
Provide status updates and clarify requests as needed
Ensure all legal requests comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
Work closely with internal departments to obtain necessary information for legal requests
Handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity
Review accounts for additional information needed for completion
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
Proficient MS Office skills
Excellent written communications and organizational skills
Flexible mentality; willing and capable of performing varied tasks and adapting to change
Able to work in a team environment
Professionally exercises discretion and independent judgment in day-to-day work
Preferred
Familiarity with medical records a plus
1–2 years of medical billing knowledge preferred
