Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of fire alarm technicians in the installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems
Coordinate with facility management to ensure all fire alarm systems meet regulatory requirements and safety standards
Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure functionality and reliability
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to fire alarm systems in a timely manner
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used, ensuring all documentation is complete and up to date
Train and mentor junior staff on fire alarm installation, maintenance, and safety protocols

Required

Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Foreman or similar role in the fire protection industry, particularly in healthcare settings
Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, codes, and standards, including NICET certification and NFPA regulations
Valid fire alarm license and relevant certifications from recognized bodies such as the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively
Experience with various fire alarm brands and systems, including Notifier, Silent Knight, Siemens, Honeywell, and others
Ability to work on-call
