Riddleberger Brothers, Inc. is a full-service plumbing, mechanical, HVAC service, controls, and design-build company seeking to hire a mechanically inclined individual as a Special Projects Technician 1. The role involves assisting with the installation, startup, and commissioning of commercial/industrial HVAC equipment, while adhering to safety requirements and company policies.

Responsibilities
Follow and adhere to all company safety requirements and processes
Install per manufacturer specifications and company policies:
Manual dampers and supporting hardware
Flex and sheet metal ductwork and associated duct fittings in light commercial and residential buildings
Copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering
HVAC related equipment including split systems and roof top units up to 20 tons
Assist with wiring of both low and line voltage to heating and cooling equipment
Assist in pre-measuring jobs to determine material required for installation
Ensure proper installation of gas line connections to heating equipment
Accurately complete required job documentation in a timely manner
Work with other team members and departments to meet job/project deadlines and specifications
Qualification
Required
Must be a high school or trade school graduate or have a GED
Must hold a Universal Refrigerant certificate or be willing to obtain
Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driver qualification policy
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
Ability to work at heights
Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs
Must be able to climb and work on ladders, scaffolding and stairs
Must be able to stand for long periods of time as well as stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl in order to work in tight spaces
Must be able to work within confined spaces
Must be able to communicate effectively with employees and customers
Must be able to use hands to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects
