Associate Director, Agency Strategy & Engagement

The Associate Director, Agency Strategy & Engagement is responsible for owning and developing media agency relationships, coordinating business reviews, and serving as a subject matter expert on channel-specific media.

Responsibilities
Foster and maintain relationships with key media agencies and strategic agency leads with a strong focus on DTC media
Coordinate business review and partnership discussions to connect organizational leaders and explore new partnership opportunities
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on channel-specific media, including but not limited too programmatic, social, TV, etc., and support Sales team leaders in agency conversations
Evaluate opportunities to streamline processes between agency and OptimizeRx, included but not limited to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and pricing agreements
Analyze OptimizeRx current presence and level of market awareness and penetration with media-focused agencies of record and identify opportunities for new agency penetration and/or increase market awareness
Drive collaboration across the organization to drive OptimizeRx omnichannel value proposition and leverage success stories across the organization
Organize training sessions, workshops and media days to enhance awareness of OptimizeRx and enable access for the Sales team to engage with the appropriate media team of stakeholders
Assist leadership in the creation of sales enablement material (training and tools), consisting of both internal and customer-facing resources
Provide coaching to client-facing internal team members on communication and consistent approaches that resonate with specific agencies
Bring together agency partners and SMEs on OptimizeRx solutions
Provide summary reports to leadership on consistent market feedback, competitor messaging, market obstacles and agency insights
Act as the escalation point for internal teams on agency-related obstacles, risks or inefficiencies, with a focus on solution finding
Participate in the development of pricing and promotion strategies based on market demands
Track performance of agency partnerships and provide regular reporting, highlighting irregularities and variances
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field
5 years of experience working at a media agency and/or with a channel partner – DTC media experience required
Experience in professional presentations and business reviews is required
Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel, as needed
Valid driver's license
Preferred
Media experience supporting the Life Science Industry is preferred
