Responsibilities
Create original and innovative furniture designs that align with client needs and preferences
Collaborate with the product development team to ensure designs are feasible and can be produced efficiently
Conduct market research to identify trends and incorporate them into new designs
Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for furniture pieces using design software
Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback into final designs
Work with materials and suppliers to select appropriate materials for each design project
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in furniture design and manufacturing
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
Previous experience designing outdoor furniture is highly preferred
Proven experience as a Furniture Designer with a strong portfolio of completed projects
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and furniture construction techniques
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
