Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the tax compliance process for a diverse portfolio of clients including family offices, government entities, non-profits, and construction companies
Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize clients' tax positions
Review and prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax laws
Provide advisory services and guidance on tax-related issues and strategies to clients
Mentor and supervise junior tax staff, providing training and performance evaluations
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and to provide informed advice to clients
Collaborate with other departments and staff to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred
5+ years of experience in tax compliance and planning, with a focus on family offices, government, non-profit, and construction sectors
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Experience in mentoring and supervising junior staff
