Responsibilities
Installation, troubleshooting, and repair devices in a windows-based environment
Assist with security cameras, servers, and network switches
Provide desktop support to the Dept of Corrections staff within the Correctional Complex
Interact or be among the inmates as they are used for work detail
Qualification
Required
Knowledgeable, experienced Desktop Support technician
High aptitude for customer service
Experience with desktop support, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair devices in a windows-based environment
Ability to assist with security cameras, servers, and network switches
Maintain a valid driver's license
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects or work in uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time
Ability to pass a DOC background check and extensive drug test prior to starting
Completion of DOC training once a month, which can last up to three weeks
Ability to work, adapt, and conduct themselves in a prison atmosphere
Skills in Windows, Outlook, O365, Win 7, Win 10, Active Directory, Desktop Support, Help Desk, Troubleshooting, Hardware, Technical support, Office 365, Imaging, Deployment
