The role involves performing work on assigned aircraft or parts in the avionics function, conducting operational checks, diagnosing malfunctions, and making necessary adjustments or repairs.

Responsibilities
Perform configurations of complete systems
Conduct operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems
Conduct bonding checks of electrical installations
Use a variety of standard and specialized hand tools, power equipment, measuring devices and test equipment in completing work assignments
Perform work from blueprints, sketches, vendor and service manuals, and other source data to obtain dimensions, locations, alignment, tolerances and other specification requirements
Qualification
Required
Minimum of four (4) years of experience assembling/installing electrical/electronic components, preferably on aircraft
Familiarity with common aviation type tooling
US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)
Preferred
Avionics and Cabling Class (like offered by East Mississippi Community College) is desirable
A current A&P or FCC license is preferred but NOT required
