Responsibilities
Own the month-end close process end to end, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and review
Produce accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts in
Manage recurring entries, allocations, and account clean-up
Oversee Ramp for expense tracking, coding, approvals, and policy enforcement
Ensure expenses sync cleanly from Ramp into QBO
Improve expense categorization, auditability, and reimbursement timelines
Manage accounts payable workflows and vendor reconciliations
Evaluate existing accounting workflows and identify inefficiencies or breakdowns
Design and implement improved close processes, internal controls, and documentation
Reduce manual work, errors, and close timelines
Support scalability as the organization grows
Partner with operations, HR, and leadership on financial data needs
Support audits, tax preparation, and external accounting partners
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as needed
Qualification
Required
5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO)
Direct experience using Ramp or a modern expense management platform
Proven ownership of the month-end close process
Solid understanding of GAAP fundamentals
Detail-oriented with a process-improvement mindset
Comfortable operating in a hands-on, execution-focused role
Preferred
Experience in healthcare, services, or multi-location environments
Prior experience improving or rebuilding accounting processes
Experience in a scaling or high-growth organization
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus, not required)
