Responsibilities
Leads the design and implementation of enterprise CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions
Architects and support scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments in Microsoft Azure
Defines and enforces DevOps standards, patterns, and best practices
Leads Infrastructure-as-Code strategy and reusable automation modules
Implements DevSecOps practices, governance, and compliance controls
Troubleshoot complex CI/CD, infrastructure, and production issues
Builds and supports a true DevOps/CI-CD software delivery model
Provides technical guidance, options, and recommendations to management
Coaches and mentors DevOps Engineer I and II team members
Participates in project planning, status meetings, and provides technical leadership
Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
Qualification
Required
Experience with Advanced CI/CD architecture, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), Infrastructure-as-Code, container platforms, scripting, automation, security, and monitoring
Expert-level experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms
Advanced scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills
Ability to handle risk and manage change comfortably
Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals through strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be required
Strong experience with: Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines), Git (Azure Repos, GitHub, GitLab), CI/CD pipeline design, build, and automation, Code scanning: Static analysis, Dynamic analysis
Ability to automate: Build processes, Release pipelines, Code deployments into Azure services
Hands on experience with: ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform (preferred for future hybrid-cloud expansion), YAML scripting, PowerShell scripting
Ability to build reusable, repeatable IaC templates for dev/test/prod environments
Strong knowledge of: Virtual Networks (VNets), VPN tunnels, Network configuration, Virtual Machines (VMs), Azure App Services / Web Apps, Azure Front Door, Load Balancers, Azure PaaS components (compute, networking, storage, databases)
Ability to design secure cloud architectures
Understanding of: Cloud security controls, Network segmentation, VPN configuration, Scalability and high availability patterns
Ability to translate application requirements into cloud architecture and automation
Preferred
Experience with Kubernetes or containerization technologies (nice to have)
Understanding of AWS (nice to have; future hybrid-cloud roadmap)
