Responsibilities
Provide customer service to guests, employees, and visitors at a hotel and resort location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest disturbances, medical calls, fire and/or life alarms, and requests for assistance from hotel staff
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or hazard concerns for reporting
Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems; document observations, incidents, and shift activities in required reports and logs
Assist with crowd management and traffic flow during peak check-in times, events, and group arrivals; support staff with lost and found intake and coordination as directed by site procedures
Qualification
Required
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience
Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
