Database Analyst/Developer

Oregon Department of Education is seeking a Database Analyst/Developer to join their Office of Finance and Information Technology. Required

Six (6) years of information systems experience in: Complex joins and subqueries, Optimizing queries and indexing strategies, Creating stored procedures, triggers, views, ETL experience (SSIS), Understanding of performance tuning, Working with large datasets
An Associate's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or Database administration or SQL Server programming field; AND four (4) years of information systems experience in: Complex joins and subqueries, Optimizing queries and indexing strategies, Creating stored procedures, triggers, views, ETL experience (SSIS), Understanding of performance tuning, Working with large datasets
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field AND two (2) years of information systems experience in: Complex joins and subqueries, Optimizing queries and indexing strategies, Creating stored procedures, triggers, views, ETL experience (SSIS), Understanding of performance tuning, Working with large datasets
Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field may substitute for all of the above

Preferred

Strategic planning and documentation of complex data processing systems
High understanding SQL Server
Highly skilled T-SQL Programming
Preparing detailed system and program technical specifications
Deployment of database applications
Ensuring data integrity, security, and conformance to ODE and state standards
