This role provides administrative support to the Default Department, focusing on processing accounts payable duties and ensuring timely management of fees, costs requests, invoices, and payoff requests.

Responsibilities
Prepare audit folders and assemble all required documents with flags at the conclusion of the foreclosure process
Review and process daily approved invoices for the Foreclosure department and dispute payments if they exceed guidelines
Process refunds of deposits
Prepare and distribute sales results notifications to investors and senior management as needed
Perform internet research to identify utilities and homeowner associations; make necessary payments and transfer accounts as needed
Make photocopies and file documents upon request
Distribute and process department mail
Update data in internal systems with current status
Create summaries and spreadsheets upon request
Qualification
Required
Strong aptitude with numbers and comfort in performing calculations
Proficiency in Excel, particularly in handling calculations
Strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Basic proficiency with data entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
Experience in an administrative role in the consumer mortgage industry, preferably in mortgage defaults
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience preparing certified mail is preferred
Experience with document retention software, such as Blitzdoc, preferred
10-key by touch preferred
