Responsibilities
Designing, developing, implementing, testing, documenting, and delivering software for drone systems
Own verification and validation (V&V) activities by defining test strategies
Establishing V&V thresholds
Developing and executing test plans
Reporting detailed results for complex sensing systems
System‑level testing
Sensor integration
Close interaction with hardware while adhering to best‑practice engineering standards
Working independently with minimal supervision
Producing clear, comprehensive technical documentation
Collaborating with cross‑functional teams
Qualification
Required
Advanced skills in C++
Advanced skills in Python
Advanced skills in Linux
Embedded development experience, including hardware integration
Experience designing, developing, implementing, testing, documenting, and delivering software for drone systems
Strong focus on real-time operating systems
Experience with multi-threaded programming
Ability to own verification and validation (V&V) activities
Ability to define test strategies
Ability to establish V&V thresholds
Ability to develop and execute test plans
Ability to report detailed results for complex sensing systems
Experience with system-level testing
Experience with sensor integration
Ability to interact closely with hardware
