Responsibilities

Supporting the network and IT asset needs for a merger to rollout EPIC
Ensuring desktop, device engineering and ensuring configuration standards are met
Running projects and working with multiple teams from desktop to the network engineering teams and outside vendors
Assisting with the System wide oversite of the User Device Lifecycle (budgeting, procurement, asset management, relinquishment)
Ensuring compliance with established standards, processes and procedures and the alignment with the Hospitals mission critical goal of providing service excellence in patient care
Gathering information on the existing workflows in use at the facilities and assisting with creating and maintaining processes and procedures required to support the device lifecycle management
Assisting with coordinating scheduled procurements across all the facilities and working closely with Finance
Facilitating quote requests by the facilities for scheduled procurement request and as the needs arise
Reviewing submitted procurement request to ensure that the items being requested for purchase are the correct solution for the requested need
Assisting with the coordination with the facility procurement requestors, Desktop engineering leadership and Site directors
Ensuring that procurement requests are submitted on the established schedule and that status updates are provided to all parties
Maintaining vendor relationships and a standard work process for vendors to provide updates to all stakeholders
Assisting with the asset management process in use at all the facilities to support tracking of user devices (financial and non-financial assets)
Managing the device lifecycle at the facilities and supporting the entire procurement process

Required

1-7 years experience as a project coordinator/manager
Onsite in the Bronx, with some travel to NYC or Brooklyn locations
Supporting the network and IT asset needs for a merger to rollout EPIC
Ensuring desktop, device engineering and ensuring configuration standards are met
Running projects
Working with multiple teams from desktop to the network engineering teams and outside vendors
Designing best in class solution for desktop and device application solutions
Assisting with the System wide oversight of the User Device Lifecycle (budgeting, procurement, asset management, relinquishment)
Ensuring compliance with established standards, processes and procedures
Aligning with the Hospitals mission critical goal of providing service excellence in patient care
Gathering information on the existing workflows in use at the facilities
Assisting with creating and maintaining processes and procedures required to support the device lifecycle management
Assisting with coordinating scheduled procurements across all the facilities
Working closely with Finance ensuring awareness of the upcoming coordinated procurements and the estimated funds needed
Facilitating quote requests by the facilities for scheduled procurement requests
Reviewing submitted procurement requests to ensure correctness of items being requested
Assisting with coordination with facility procurement requestors, Desktop engineering leadership and Site directors
Ensuring procurement requests are submitted on the established schedule
Providing status updates to all parties
Maintaining vendor relationships and a standard work process for vendors
Assisting with the asset management process to support tracking of user devices
Managing the device lifecycle at the facilities
Supporting the entire procurement process
