The role involves providing on-grounds transportation for consumers and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of various equipment and vehicles, alongside general maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide on grounds transportation for consumers
Operate a variety of equipment and vehicles to transport supplies
Ensure the grounds are maintained in a safe and attractive condition
Perform snow and ice removal
Complete general maintenance of equipment and vehicles including cleaning, waxing, and performing minor repairs
Assist the automotive mechanic with major repairs
Complete safety checks and inspections of equipment prior to leaving grounds
Perform manual work with powered and non-powered tools
Load and unload trucks
Clean streets and catch basins
Cut and trim grass and brush

Required

Six months experience in the operation and maintenance of large vans, buses and single-chassis trucks with a gross vehicle weight of 10,001 pounds or more; or any equivalent combination of experience and training
Possession of a valid Class C Pennsylvania driver's license
Obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within the probationary period
Meet the PA residency requirement
Ability to perform essential job functions
A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination
Submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance
