Early-Stage Mortgage Collections Representative

In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service to borrowers who are past due on their home loan payments, helping them achieve financial capacity and continued homeownership.

Responsibilities

Engage with borrowers through phone calls, providing personalized support and guidance to prevent mortgage delinquency
Negotiate payment arrangements and follow up on returned payments to keep borrowers on track
Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, including FDCPA, RESPA, and FCRA
Identify borrowers for home retention programs and schedule property inspections to assess condition
Resolve delinquency through collection efforts and borrower assistance programs
Other job duties as assigned

Required

1+ years of experience in mortgage collections, early-stage counseling, or a related role
Ability to handle multiple tasks with high attention to detail and analytical skills to maximize results
Strong verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills
High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred

1 - 3+ years of collections or loan servicing experience
Bilingual in Spanish
Bachelor's degree
