Recruiter / HR Specialist
DBL Law is one of the largest firms in Louisville and Greater Cincinnati, and they are seeking a hybrid Recruiter / HR Specialist to lead their talent acquisition strategy and provide specialized operational HR support. The role involves managing the talent lifecycle process and executing essential HR services with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
Source candidates for all key roles using diverse channels, including industry applications (ATS, HRIS), social media platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook, Twitter), and professional networks, to proactively attract top talent
Manage the entire recruitment process from initial requisition through candidate acceptance
Conduct initial screening and interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications and alignment with firm culture and role expectations
Facilitate the interview process, providing structure and tools to ensure all internal interviewers can adequately evaluate candidate qualifications
Create a positive and professional experience for all candidates considered for a position
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders (candidates, hiring managers, and firm leadership) at each stage of the process
Other duties as assigned
Outline and manage processes/tools to establish role descriptions for all key roles that contain clear expectations of performance
Design and facilitate an onboarding experience that enables a new hire to begin to contribute and add value quickly
Oversee and manage the firm’s performance management process, ensuring team members participate in completing their self-review and employee evaluations, as appropriate
Administer and document all stages of the disciplinary and termination process, ensuring all actions are compliant with established firm policy and legal requirements
Act as liaison with outsourced HR services vendor to facilitate the execution of key services such as benefits and compliance
Ensure HR-related practices, processes, and procedures are documented and communicated
Maintain and establish HR Analytics and Metrics
Oversee the firm's PTO system within the HRIS
Coordinate and schedule internal and external training programs for professional development across the firm
Member of Summer Associate, and Diversity/Wellness Committees

Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, business administration, communications, or an HR-related field
At least 3 years of experience executing generalist-level HR functions
At least 3 years of experience recruiting white-collar professionals is required, with previous law firm or professional services hiring experience strongly preferred
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on prioritization, and the ability to initiate and monitor simultaneous projects
Proficient in using industry-standard applications such as HRIS and ATS
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) and able to consistently style, format, and edit documents professionally
Able to shift and respond to multiple priorities quickly and efficiently
The ability to connect with and develop professional and friendly rapport with colleagues across all levels of the organization
Able to not only identify problems but actively develop and execute excellent solutions
Comfortable and productive even when facing unclear or complex situations
Driven to define a clear way forward
Preferred
Previous law firm or professional services hiring experience strongly preferred
Experience with social media applications (LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook, Twitter) for sourcing is beneficial
