Responsibilities
Service, troubleshoot, program, and test enterprise-level security systems
Diagnose and resolve issues with networked IP video systems and access control platforms
Service commercial alarm and IoT-based security systems
Perform work onsite or via remote system access depending on task requirements
Interact professionally with customers and clearly communicate technical information
Support ongoing system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting efforts
Qualification
Required
Intermediate-Level Service Technician with hands-on experience servicing, troubleshooting, programming, and testing enterprise security systems
Strong technical expertise across access control, IP video, intrusion systems, and visitor management solutions
Comfortable working both onsite and remotely
Confident in customer-facing environments
Installation and servicing of security systems
CCTV and IP camera systems
Access control systems
Alarm and intrusion systems
Electrical fundamentals related to low-voltage systems
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and manage service tasks efficiently
Intermediate level experience required
Preferred
Experience or proficiency in one or more of the following systems: Access Control Systems (Pro-Watch, Genetec, Software House, Lenel/S2, OpenPath), Video Management Systems (Axis, Exacq, Milestone, MaxPro, Genetec, Victor, Avigilon, Hanwha), Locking Hardware (ASSA ABLOY, Von Duprin, Adams Rite), Intrusion Systems (Vista, DSC, Bosch, DMP)
Current certification or demonstrated proficiency in any of the systems listed above is a plus
